Three Essential Ingredients for Tantric Life…
For 22 years, I have lived a Tantric life.
Within all its whoops of celebrations that elevate and expand, and all the dark valleys that hold soil for growth, there are three essential ingredients that I feel are a must for our Tantric toolbox.
These three ingredients offer an anchor in life and always gift us we new possibilities.
Whether we are choosing to feel more at ease in our body, or safer in life…
Or ready to let go of unhealthy attachments we know are no longer supportive to our happiness…
Or we desire to feel more pleasure and to know our sex as a ripe and full vibration in our body.
It is these three ingredients that will move us into vast experiences of body, life, and sex.
Ingredient One: The Breath.
Breath and the body…
When we allow ourselves to slow down our breath, we come out of habitual busy-ness.
In the slowing down, we become more aware of our internal landscape. Our breath moves us into body and offers us space to create a new relationship with our body of safety and ease.
Breath and life…
As we slow down our breath and become more aware of our body, we become more aware of what matters.
We are less attached to the external world and more attuned to our inner world. With very little effort attachments, drama, chaos and fear simply have less of a hold on how we think and feel.
We become more present, for our breath is of the present moment.
Our tendency to lean into the past or the future with worry or to engage in drama becomes less attractive.
Breath and sex…
In slowing down and being more tuned to our body and breath, we become more aware of the sensations that ripple through our body.
Our sexual energy can only move when our body is out of tension and can organically move and rise.
This is how we feel within our self and elevate our experiences of the act of sex.
Ingredient Two: Presence.
Our breath supports us to be present.
As we move into longer and consistent states of presence. We are more embodied, for we have let go of time as a measurement and live more in the moment.
From this space, our experiences of self, life and sex have a depth of connection, for we are no longer scattered in thought.
Life, love, and sex become rich and fulfilling. For it is only in this moment that we can be truly seen, known, held and met.
Presence establishes an intimacy with self, others and life.
Ingredient Three: Our Senses.
When we explore and choose to embrace our senses into our daily liviing, we reconnect to the tools we have to experience a rich life.
We begin to truly taste, we begin to truly hear, see, smell, and we are fully present in the experience of touch.
This invokes a sense of curiosity, playfulness and colour.
Life becomes more vibrant and our sexual experiences with others elevate into new depths of sensuality.
