Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Neighbourhuud. By booking our courses or events, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms include our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, which are integrated below for your convenience.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Securing Your Place:

  • Your place on a course is only confirmed once payment has been received via PayPal or through a direct invoice if PayPal is unavailable. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

1.2 Payment Options:

  • Pay in Full via PayPal: Participants can pay the entire course fee upfront via PayPal at the time of booking to secure their place immediately.

  • Pay in 3 with PayPal: Neighbourhuud offers PayPal’s Pay in 3 service for eligible participants. This allows the course fee to be split into three interest-free payments. The first payment is made at the time of booking, and the remaining payments are automatically scheduled.

    • Important: By selecting PayPal’s Pay in 3, participants agree to PayPal’s terms and conditions for this payment service. Failure to meet the installment schedule may result in forfeiture of your place on the course without a refund of payments already made.

  • Direct Invoice: Occasionally, we may send an invoice directly to participants if PayPal is unavailable for any reason. Payment through this invoice must be completed promptly to confirm your booking.

1.3 Accepted Payment Methods:

  • All payments must be made via PayPal, either through a PayPal account or using PayPal’s guest checkout option for credit/debit cards. In the case of direct invoicing, payment methods will be outlined in the invoice (e.g., bank transfer).

2. Refund Policy

At Neighbourhuud, we aim to ensure your satisfaction with our courses and events. However, we understand that circumstances may change. Our refund policy is as follows:

2.1 Cancellation by Participant:

  • More than 14 days before the start date: 50% refund.

  • Less than 14 days before the start date: No refund available.

2.2 Cancellation by Neighbourhuud:

If we need to cancel a course or event, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course or event of equal value.

2.3 Non-Attendance:

Failure to attend a course or event without prior notice will be considered a cancellation without refund.

2.4 Satisfaction Guarantee:

If you get to the end of the course, have attended every session, completed the practices at home, sought help from the course leader when needed, and have not experienced any positive improvement intended by the course, we will provide a full refund.

2.5 Credit for Personal Circumstances:

If you absolutely cannot attend your course due to personal circumstances, you can use the credit for either:

  • The same course offered at a future date, or

  • A course or event by the same facilitator.

Note: Credit cannot be used for courses or events hosted by other facilitators at Neighbourhuud.

2.6 Refunds for PayPal Payments and Invoiced Payments:

  • Refunds for payments made via PayPal will be processed through PayPal and returned to the original payment method. For payments made using PayPal’s Pay in 3 service, PayPal’s terms for refunds will apply, and participants should be aware that refunds may not cancel remaining installments.

  • Refunds for payments made via direct invoice will be processed through the method used for payment, and the same refund timelines apply.

2.7 How to Request a Refund or Credit:

  • To request a refund or credit, please contact us at katie@neighbourhuud.com with your booking details.

  • For the satisfaction guarantee, you will also need to provide a summary of your participation, including session attendance, proof of completed practices, and the nature of help sought from the course leader.

2.8 Processing Time:

Refunds or credits will be processed within 14 days of approval. The Refund Policy applies to all payments, whether made via PayPal or direct invoice.

Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during our courses and events. Please inform us of any medical conditions or injuries prior to attending.
