Neighbourhuud Ltd – Membership and Wellness Session Participation Terms & Conditions
(a.k.a. the friendly fine print)
Welcome to neighbourhuud! We’re so happy you’re part of our community. To keep things flowing smoothly (and safely) for everyone, here are a few simple agreements between us and you. Please read them through — they’re short, promise.
1. Wellness & Safety
Our sessions are designed to support your wellbeing, but they’re not a substitute for medical advice. Please check with a doctor if you have any conditions that might affect your practice.
You agree to take care of your own body and listen to its limits. If something feels wrong, pause, rest, or let your teacher know.
By joining a session, you accept that you do so at your own risk. Neighbourhuud and our instructors can’t be held liable for injuries or issues that might arise from participation.
2. Booking & Attendance
Life happens, we get it! But if you can’t make it to a session you’ve booked, please cancel in advance so someone else can take your spot.
If you don’t show up three times without cancelling, you’ll receive a gentle reminder from us. If it happens again (another three times), we’ll add a £10 fine to your account.
But here’s the twist — that money goes directly towards funding our Friday Night Gatherings for everyone to enjoy.
3. Schedule & Sessions
We may need to tweak, reschedule, or cancel sessions from time to time.
We’ll always try to give notice, but sometimes changes are last-minute. Thanks for being flexible!
Substitute facilitators may step in to cover classes, and they’ll bring their own flavour of goodness.
4. Membership & Payments
Memberships and sessions are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
All memberships are personal to you — please don’t share them with friends (though we love when you bring them along on their own pass!).
If you wish to cancel your membership, make sure to do so before the payment comes out. You’ll can cancel anytime and keep your membership until the end of the billing cycle. More info on exactly how do it here. Email katie@neighbourhuud.com if you have any questions.
5. Community Guidelines
Neighbourhuud is about connection. Please treat everyone with respect and kindness, both in sessions and at gatherings.
Phones on silent during sessions. Presence is the best gift you can give yourself and the group.
Please arrive 15-minutes before your session begins and keep chit chat to a minimum so we can all relax before our practice. We hang out for 30-minutes after sessions so there’s time to catch up then!
6. The Spirit of Neighbourhuud
We’re more than just a wellness space — we’re building community. These terms aren’t about rules for the sake of rules, they’re about making sure everyone gets the best out of being here.
By signing up for sessions or membership, you agree to the above. Thanks for being part of our Neighbourhuud.
Neighbourhuud Ltd – Studio Hire Terms & Conditions
We’re really happy you’re interested in using our space at Neighbourhuud Ltd. These terms are here to keep things clear, fair, and smooth for everyone. By booking the space, you agree to the following:
1. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be paid for in advance.
Once booked, payments are non-refundable, unless we ask you to reapply with an offering that’s more in line with our community values.
2. Using the Space
Please arrive and leave on time, so the space is ready for the next booking.
Leave the space as you found it – clean, tidy, and set up for the next person. This includes resetting the kitchen and cosy corner, and making sure there are no food crumbs anywhere.
If anything gets damaged during your hire, you’ll need to repair, replace, or cover the cost.
3. Insurance & Responsibility
As the facilitator, you are responsible for your own activities, sessions, and participants.
You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable insurance in place to cover what you’re offering.
Neighbourhuud Ltd and our director, Katie Nicholson, cannot accept responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or personal belongings.
4. Marketing & Ticket Sales
It’s up to you to promote your event and sell tickets. We’re always happy to share community offerings we align with, but selling tickets is your responsibility.
5. Community Values
Our space is here to empower community with ancient tools. If your event doesn’t fit with our values, we may have to decline your booking.
6. Parking
The car park can be used on weekdays before 9am and after 5pm (it cannot be used between 9am and 5pm during the week). The car park can be used all day on Saturdays.
As the facilitator, you ensure that any participants who have parked have a 2E note on their dashboard. We can only have three 2E cars in the carpark at any time so make sure your participants are aware of this. There is also street parking.
7. Member Discount
In order to support our members in being the best we can be, you agree to give up to three members a 20% discount per paid offerings at Neighbourhuud.
Private 1:1 or group sessions are classed differently in that you do not have to offer these sessions to members at a discounted rate. However, private sessions will not be published publicly to our members on the website or in the newsletter.
8. Katie’s Attendance
As the financial investors, part of Katie and Jacques’ exchange is that they are invited to all offerings held in Neighbourhuud free of charge (other than private sessions).
They’ll never take a space you could have sold so they’ll only join last minute if you have space. Let us know if this won’t work for you as we’re happy to discuss :)
9. General Respect
Please treat the space, our team, and our community with care and respect.
No smoking, vaping, or use of illegal substances on the premises.
Please be mindful of noise and neighbours.
Please respect the two-year gap between professionally holding space and exploring physical intimacy with participants of your sessions at Neighbourhuud. This is to prevent power imbalances and to protect everyone involved.
By booking with Neighbourhuud Ltd, you agree to these terms in the spirit they’re intended – to keep the space safe, welcoming, and supportive for all.
